The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), invites patients to an upcoming public meeting on Functional Gastrointestinal (GI) Disorders to be held May 11, 2015 from 1pm–5pm (EDT) at the FDA Campus in Silver Spring, Maryland.
The purpose of the meeting is to gather patients’ perspectives on symptoms and daily impacts that matter most to them, and to discuss available approaches for treating functional GI disorders. FDA is particularly interested in obtaining patient feedback regarding impact on daily life and patients’ views on patient experiences with irritable bowel syndrome, gastroparesis, chronic persistent symptomatic gastroesophageal reflux despite standard therapeutic interventions, and chronic idiopathic constipation.
This meeting is an exciting opportunity for patients to bring their voice to FDA and the drug development process.
I encourage you to participate either in-person or through the live webcast. FDA needs your help to make this meeting a success.
