Communication Skills Series for Health Care Practitioners

  1. Fellow, Resident and Faculty Communication Series – This program began in 1977 and has continued monthly at the University of North Carolina Medical Center. It is directed by Dr. Drossman and consists of informal skill-based training in interview techniques, clinical reasoning and methods to enhance the patient provider relationship.  Sessions consist of live interviews with patients, role plays, small group learning and general discussion around a case presentation format.
