Over the last year, Drossman Gastroenterology has sent patients a 39 item survey to asses satisfaction with the practice. Items relate to whether patients are receiving adequate explanation, provided enough time and whether expectations for care are met. Patients were asked to answer each question as (1) Strongly Disagree; (2) Disagree; (3) Neither Agree or Disagree; (4) Agree or (5) Strongly Agree.
For the first set of over 62 patients, overall satisfaction with care was rated as 4.52 and when asked if they would recommend Drossman Gastroenterology to a friend, the score was 4.81.
