Doctor, What’s Wrong with Me?

This scripted play shows Dr. Collins a junior medical resident learning to care for a patient with severe abdominal pain, constipation and emotional distress. Over six clinic visits Dr. Collins learns from his attending physician (Dr. Drossman) ways to effectively engage with and help Ms. Byerly in her care and gain self-awareness along the way.

This video was presented over 35 years ago and was the first in Dr. Drossman’s career to use video to teach communication skills.
