What Do Patients Want? Honesty, Respect, Effective Communications June 2017

My career has included a focus on the value of patient-provider relationship and the value of effective communications. It’s great to see continued dialogue on this important and vital topic in healthcare, such as this video that appeared recently, on MedPage Today where Ron Harman King of Vanguard Communications discusses how patient review patterns match studies published in major journals — both show that patients value clear communication and respect from their healthcare providers above clinical skills.
